Can you return a Rwanda rental car in a different location?
Yes, you can return the car in a different location. Usually, this is called “one-way rental”. However, please note that, sometimes, an extra fee may be applied to your reservation considering the fact that our driver will have to go and pickup the car and drive back to Kigali.
Does it cost more to return a rental car in a different location?
Rent a Car Rwanda usually charges a return fee, but will depends on the pick-up and drop-off location, date of reservation, and more. We will state these costs within our conversation before the car rental confirmation. We will discuss the rates of returning the car in the same location and with different pick-up and drop-off locations.
Can you return a car in a different District within Rwanda?
Yes, you can rent a car one-way out of district within Rwanda. It is also possible to pick-up the rental car from a different district other thank Kigali.
However, Rent a car Rwanda will charge the one-way rental extra fee based on how far the drop-off is from the pick-up as we will have to return it to Kigali city. This way, the more you drive away from the pick-up address, the more expensive the fee will be.
Is it possible to return a Rwanda rental car in a different country?
Yes. This is most common with visitors who drive From Rwanda to Uganda, crossing borders. Rent a Car Rwanda will process your border crossing documents but will require you to purchase insurance from the border.
